Hi, I always enjoyed reading your blog because your experience mirror my current situations very much especially when I have a baby that is only a month younger than yours.

I can definitely identify with your situation except that I'm doing it everyday with Ryan at 5 - 6am every morning! He grunts and groans but nothing comes out, so I have to hold him in an upright position till morning, which can be really tiring for me. He only finally gets it all out at 9 - 10 am in the morning.

Btw, thanks for your recommendation of your lactation consultation, Betty. I got her in today and we ironed out some of the issues out together. She's a very nice lady.

Gosh, you must have a very tiring morning everyday! Being parents, we have to worry and get ourself distress at things which seems so trival to us adults. Regardless of all the frustration, the toothless smile from the baby really make our day and it is very rewarding afterall, isn't it?

Oh yes, he's just beginning to start smiling. Simply melts the heart. Sigh.

Anyway I have tried to get around the problem. Since I'm definitely going to get up around this time, I either hold him upright and turn on the PC to surf the net or catch up on email reading. Typing with one hand is still quite a chore! :P Else if he permits, I lie him tummy down in the cot. So far, he seems to settle down a bit this way.

I used to get so excited or worried over her poo poo business. Not so up tight about it anymore, sort of get used to her irregular bowel movement already. Really hope I could start potty training her, but is still procastinating. Getting lazy!
