My hubby said he and his siblings had it when they're little, too, and yes..it will fade away because they don't have that any more as adults. It only troubles me when my older daughter looks at herself in the mirror and points to that vein and starts feeling self-conscious about it... but since she sees that her little sister has it, too, it doesn't bother her anymore.
