In Genting
» fiddle faddle
We arrived in Genting without any unwanted hiccups. The baby was extremely cooperative, she didn’t poo on her way and she didn’t cry for food either. I only nursed her when she got a bit restless and she seemed satisfied. And I also managed to get my Ramly burger, but it didn’t seemed to be as tasty anymore.
I had a terrible shocked when I stepped into the First World Hotel, there were people everywhere. As we made our way to Resort Hotel, there were more people jostling to get around. At the Resort Hotel lobby, the whole floor area is packed with hotel guest waiting to check into their rooms. We had to get a number and wait for our turn to check in! We returned an hour later after lunch and it wasn’t our turn yet! Gosh, I think checking in here is as tedious as waiting to see the doctors in SGH specialist clinics.I think the baby pretty enjoy the hotel room, because it is carpeted and spacious. She is always fascinated crawling on carpeted floor. Apart from that and the cooling weather, there isn’t much I could agree with. I have trouble making baby cereal because the so called hot water is only slightly warm (they only have a common water dispenser on each floor). We got our water from Coffee Beans and Tea Leaf instead. Then the standard baby chairs are really meant for toddlers, too big for her, she would slip out of the holes in the chair. We carried her most of the time. Also, a cocaroach found its way into our luggage. Argh, couldn’t catch it in time and now I don’t know which clothes it is hiding in.
I guess I am feeling crappy simply because it is too crowded here. There are a lot of things to do here, but I just want to hide in the room and enjoy some peace. We went to Awana Resort instead. It was much peaceful and relaxing there. Plenty of greenery. The cable car ride was enjoyable. There were horses, rabbits, chickens and peacock for the kid to see.
Never ever visit Genting during super peak season. Next time, I will choose to come here again maybe during the seventh month of the lunar calender. Maybe I would be entitiled to more space then.
