My hubby is on reservist since last week and my mil offer to share my bed and help me take care of baby!!! Luckily I have enough courage to turn her down politely and I keep reassuring her that I will take good care of his grandson in the absence of the dad. I think if she really choose to sleep in the same bed as me, I'll probably be wide eye the whole night and she too is very afraid of chill. These few days with the weather so warm and humid at night she can still sleep with the fan off.....

This is so funny! My MIL has thunderous snores too. My FIL always complains about her "singing songs". He has to sleep first so that when he's in deep sleep, he won't hear her when she retires to bed later.

Also, there was once, Ryan slept with her during nap time, she woke him up a couple of times with her loud snores.

I slept in the same room with her on a few occasions but not on the same bed. I won't allow it even though it's a king-size bed, I'm so afraid we'll end up "crushing" Ryan in our sleep. So it's her and Ryan on the bed and me on the floor with a mattress. It wasn't too bad, I managed to tune out the snores. :)

hahaa...would you recommend the affected snorers to go to see a ENT specialist?

I actually mentioned it to my MIL. But she said it's probably hereditary and my FIL said probably need operation. I said I will ask about it for her but never follow through. :P

Seeing an ENT specialist might be necessary. Snoring can be dangerous and cause suffocation. Whenever James snores too loudly, I will wake him up or try to change his sleeping posture.
