Yes, I do think your opinion is righteous. (So do lots of people). Luckily majority of people are intelligent :).

Hi huileng,
Definitely this is the nature instinct in us and this instinct will activate during our transient to motherhood. What I want to say is most of the male dont seem to have this instinct. I am not stereotyping but my "wonder twin power girls" are 18mths old now but their daddy seem to be still at his single cell thought...

cookiedough and wtpg, heheh, seems that the males are less sensitive in this smoking issue with children around, or are we over protective? I doubt so.

Hi spots, thanks for dropping by. I am not sure about mei tai carrier in Singapore, never seen it yet. But I remember someone mentioned about wanting to bring it in some times ago. Let me do some digging and see if I can get her contact.

I've always wanted to blog abt this issue...
Anyway, I've seen worse cases. Saw a grandpa pushing a stroller with his grandchild in it and he was just puffing away. And another time, I saw this father holding his little daughter's hand and yet smoking at the same time. Really doubt their true love for these kids.
