Hey Huileng, Daniel here. I came to visit this blog while searching for "stroller" for my baby. I was a Malaysian and my wife a Singaporean, therefore, it seems to have so many similarities among us esp with regards to the "cross countries" issues... anyway our baby Wayne is 9 months old now and your blog served as a good reminder of what is going to happen to us ahead.

Probably too tired or not feeling well? Think every kid will have this kind of unexplanable moments every now and then. Especially when they find it difficult to express what is bothering them.

Well done mummy! Give urself an applause for not loosing ur coolness. I guess most children display such weird behaviour when they are feeling tire or sleepy as children at this age are still not good at expressing themself. No need to dwell over it. What best for them most probably is mummy's comfort and guidance for them to express in a less stressful way :)

Hi Huileng!
I read a book re to toddlers' fears. It's due to their limited knowledge, little experience and growing imagination, etc.... (particularly from age 2 to 6) but it is REALto them. So what we can do is to comfort and reassure them. Bravo to you as you handled it patiently as i understand how it's like :-) This book (What to Expect: The Toddler Years) talks about it more but I don't think I will write all of them down too lengthy ;-)
