This site is almost entirely about my baby.

My name is Ong Hui Leng. I used to teach Chinese language in a secondary school here in Singapore, but left school in 2003 to go full time into pursuing my interest in Chinese calligraphy. Still miss my teaching days, but decided to give myself 10 years to concentrate on my interest. So, my life primarily revolves around writing and caring for my children.

This site started in 2004 to record the little bits and pieces of my firstborn in an attemp to journal how exactly how she grow up. However, I lost my discipline and stopped writing while I was expecting my second kid. There were various failed attempt to revive the site, but I simply have no insipiration nor could I find any topic to write about.

We relocated to Shanghai from Singapore in December 2008. Now, everything seems new, intimidating and also exciting to me. There are new discoveries everyday and the experiences are totally refreshing. I told myself to start recording again. Hopefully, this resurrection attempt will be successful.
